Healing has always been a spiral inward and then back outwards as we learn new truths. Healing can be a messy and painful process but with courage, we can walk along this spiral path learning about ourselves. At times we think that we have mastered an emotional area in our life only to find that there is a deeper level to be explored. This can be exhausting! We say to ourselves ‘really …you again (to the pain, sadness, or anger that has resurfaced) I thought I was done with you”! Seeking out help can also make us feel vulnerable as we must allow another into our hurt and this takes deep courage.
There are many clinicians to choose from who all have different approaches. It is important for you, the client, to find a clinician you resonate with. My goal is to help clients navigate this emotional path and I see myself as a guide along that path. If my words speak to you we could be a good match.
